Notifications
The Notifications section enables users to stay informed about various events through configurable notifications. Notifications can be sent via web, mobile, and email, ensuring timely updates on critical activities. Below is the step-by-step guide to effectively manage notifications.
Creating New Notification
Follow below steps to create a new notification:
Open the new device form :
- Go to the Settings option and select the Notifications tab.
- Click on the + sign on right bottom corner to open the form for adding a new notification.
2. Fill Notification details :
Type : Select the event type for the notification.
- Alarm
- Command result
- Device Inactive/Moving/Stopped
- Driver changed
- Geofence Entered/Exited
- Ignition On/Off
- Maintenance required
- Speed limit exceeded
- Status Offline/Online
Channels : Select one or more channels for notification delivery:
- Web
- Mobile
- SMS
All Devices : Check this option if the notification should apply to all user devices. If unchecked, the notification can be linked to specific devices or groups.
Calendar (Optional) : Assign a calendar to limit the notification to specific time periods, such as working days/hours.
Save the Notification :
- Review the notification settings and click the Save button to create the new notification.

Channels of Notifications
Mobile Notifications
Notifications can be sent to the Advanced Telematics mobile app, ensuring users receive real-time updates on their mobile devices.
Web Notifications
Web notifications appear as pop-up windows in the web interface, providing real-time alerts directly on the dashboard.
Email Notifications
Email notifications are sent to the user’s registered email address, ensuring important alerts are received even when not logged into the platform.
SMS
SMS notifications are sent to user’s mobile phone as a text message ensuring users receive real-time updates.
Managing Existing Notifications
Notifications Details :
- The notification tab displays all notification-related information including type, all devices, alarm, channels and available actions.
Edit Notification :
- To modify notification information, click the Edit icon in the Actions column. Update the necessary details and save the changes.
Delete Notification :
- To permanently remove a notification, click the Delete icon in the Actions column and confirm the action to delete the notification.
